I have neglected this new blog "oh sew pretty" exactly because I am sewing so much! I have a big deadline and only another week to get it done! In between are many exciting things happening, today I make a presentation to the students at the NB College of Craft and Design! I am excited and a little nervous! Wish me luck!

Today someone shared on Facebook the most stunning blog www.triciafountaine.blogspot.com and wedding tricia designed. A mix of magical faeries and steampunk. The bride made her dress, all elements for wedding were hand crafted. The steampunk touches, the wedding guests in costume as well. Be inspired by the beauty and the magic!

The magic of the faeries brought me to looking through my photos, here is the cake top "Belle" my daughter created in Pastry Arts and below my own belle, my daughter Kate, the loveliest of gowns in a wooded glen on prom night. Ah magic and memories!

It has been quite a week and I am so very grateful for all the good things happening in my life! Yesterday I taped with Sheryl Borden host of Creative Living, such a warm and friendly host! Today I was featured on Michael Sellick's popular Creativ Festival blog, Michael is a talend Canadian fiber artist, his yarn and fiber creations are spectacular!
