When I was writing my book Easy-to-Sew Playful Toys I met Deborah Peyton, a popular Canadian cartoonist and illustrator. She illustrated my toys for the book and we struck up a partnership and friendship PQexpressions! The toys became two fabric lines Buggles and Wiggles & Giggles manufactured by Northcott Silk. We continue new fun work, Deborah has illustrated all my books and we are always looking for licensing opportunities for our characters. Although Deborah has moved to another province we still get together at our favorite restaurant planning our next big idea over a scrumptious chocolate dessert or coconut cream pie!
